When planning your next trip, make plans for UnaSource Travel Health - the international traveler's one-stop source for information, immunizations, and consultation.  Our international health professionals will evaluate your individual needs, prescribe and administer immunizations and medications, and provide precautionary information for dietary and recreational activities as they pertain to your destination.

Your travel itinerary, where you will be staying, the activities planned, and the purpose of your visit all influence the choice of vaccines.  Additional considerations are recent disease outbreaks, past travel experience, medical history, and special medical conditions which requires expert advice.

With assistance from the Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization, UnaSource Travel Health will continuously provide up-to-date vaccine therapy.  Current vaccines available at the On-Site Diagnostic Laboratory include:

* Hepatitis A * Poliomyelitis
* Hepatitis B * Rabies
* Influenza * Tetanus/Diphtheria
* Japanese Encephalitis * Twinrix
* Measles-Mumps-Rubella * Typhoid
* Meningococcal * Varicella (Chickenpox)
* Pneumococcal * Yellow Fever

Note:  Medication therapy is often required 6-8 weeks prior to traveling.  However, certain circumstances may require up to 6 months.   Plan early in order to ensure proper treatment.

ADDITIONAL IMMUNIZATION SERVICES:

STUDENTS: 

Pre-entrance immunizations including meningococcal - required or recommended by many colleges.

WORKERS EXPOSED TO CERTAIN HAZARDS:

Exposure to blood-borne pathogens may require Hepatitis B

IMMIGRATION AND NATURALIZATION: 

Flu, Pneumococcal, Tetanus/Diphtheria, Varicella, MMR, Tuberculosis skin testing and other immunizations are available.
